Best Indigenous Apprentice/Trainee -Teleigha Saunders

Teleigha completed a Certificate III in Business and was hosted to the Latrobe Valley Authority,  as part of the program trainees were rotated to other departments within the business. 

Teleigha quickly established herself and got through her daily work diligently, so much so that she found herself crying out for more challenging work.  Through consultation with her host and Field Officer, Teleigha also spent time with Latrobe City Council and with the Ladder Program in the Latrobe Valley. 

Since completing her traineeship Teleigha has gained employment with Latrobe City Council in their Indigenous Employment Program, working with clients as well as mentoring and assisting indigenous youth into employment.
