AGA COVID-19 Update

As the global outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we want to assure you that we are committed to supporting you during this challenging time, and to outline some important information about the actions AGA are taking to contribute to minimising the risks associated with COVID-19 within our local communities.

First and foremost, AGA takes the health and safety of our apprentices and trainees seriously, and we recognise that you will have concerns around the spread of COVID-19, including how it is continuing to impact the broader community and day-to-day activities. Our greatest priority at this time is the health and safety of you, our apprentices and trainees, as well as our staff and clients.

AGA are actively monitoring and following all health and travel advice issued by the Australian and State Governments. We are ensuring that our staff are supported with clear health and hygiene protocols, as well as information they need to support you as our apprentices and trainees. Some of the actions we  are taking include:

  • Preparing our teams to respond quickly to any emerging situation should it occur, to best ensure the health and safety of everyone involved; and
  • Asking any staff displaying flu-like symptoms to refrain from coming to work, self-isolate and seek medical attention.

We will continue to strive for what is best for all of our clients, including apprentices, trainees and host employers, by providing you with up-to-date information and taking action in line with advice from the World Health Organisation and the Australian Government (via the Department of Health).
We are here to support you, and encourage you to take care of yourselves and each other as the situation continues to develop.
