AGA are seeking an individual to undertake a Business Traineeship working with a Local Council based in Glen Waverley. The successful candidate will work full time for 12 months whilst completing a ‘Certificate III in Business’.
Responsibilities:
- General administration duties
- Assist and support internal staff
- Mail management and invoice processing
- Data Entry
- Assist with office management functions
Role Selection Criteria:
- Competent ability to operate a computer (particularly using Microsoft applications – Word and Excel)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to innovation and to organisation development
- Attention to detail
Requirements:
- Drivers licence (preferred)
- Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Working With Children Check
- Genuine interest in administration/customer service
- No prior qualifications necessary
AGA Trainees will:
- Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
- Receive ongoing mentoring & support
- Receive a weekly wage including entitlements
