As an Education Support Trainee you will work closely with the classroom teacher to prepare learning aides and assist students between the ages of 12 – 18 with their language, literacy and numeracy.
Our Education Support Trainee will work 5 days per week (school hours) for 12 months whilst completing a Certificate III in Education Support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teaching staff by performing non-teaching duties
- Assist and participate in learning activities
- Prepare learning areas and activities
- Provide individual support to students
- Assist with the preparation of teaching aids and resources
Requirements:
- Drivers licence (preferred)
- Genuine interest in Education Support
- Willing to commit to a 12 month, part time (30-35hrs) Traineeship
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain immediately)
