AGA is funded by Solar Victoria to deliver the Solar Victoria Apprenticeships for Women program. The program is designed to boost the number of women in the solar heating and cooling industry.
Sign up to complete a 4 year electrical apprenticeship, and you will gain valuable on-the-job experience and earn a full-time wage while you work towards being fully qualified!
Who can apply?
- Women of all ages
- No experience needed
- Must be a resident of Victoria
Qualifications
UEE30820 — Certificate III in Electrotechnology, Electrician
What’s included?
- Apprentice incentive payments up to $15,000 over two years, in addition to your salary
- Free work tools
- Tuition fees and training material costs are covered
- Required tickets like Elevated work platform and Working at heights, costs are covered
- Free income protection cover
- All your PPE and uniform (work boots, high-vis vest, hard hat) are provided
- The program is FREE to join
