22515VIC Course in Working Safely in the Solar Industry

AGA delivers solar industry safety and sustainability training to assist apprentices, trade assistants, electricians and plumbers to have a consistent level of knowledge and skills, and to ensure they conduct installations safely and to a high standard.

The five training units in the course include:

  • VU22744 — Work safely in the solar industry
  • CPCCWHS1001 — Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)
  • CPCCOHS2001A — Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
  • CPCCCM2010B — Work safely at heights
  • HLTAID003 — Provide first aid

About AGA Solar Industry Training

This course is free to all applicants as part of the Victorian Government’s Solar Homes training and workforce development package, in conjunction with the Department of Education and Training’s Skills First package.

Completion of the ‘VU22744 — Work Safely in the Solar Industry’ unit is a mandatory requirement for anyone installing photovoltaic or solar hot water systems in the Victorian Government’s Solar Homes program through Solar Victoria, as of 01 July 2021.
