Once you have joined AGA, we will take care of you from day one until you are fully qualified.

AGA employs you, finds a host employer to provide on-the-job work experience and organises your training.

We care about our apprentices and trainees and work to help you establish a successful career pathway. As we are not-for-profit, our focus is on your needs and preferences. Our extensive network of outstanding employers enables us to offer a large number of diverse positions.

Employment

From your first day of employment, we pay you and manage all aspects of your employment.

Our vast network of employers helps us to find the right host employers for you throughout your apprenticeship or traineeship.

You will also have a dedicated field officer, who will mentor and support you whenever you need it, visiting you at your workplace and liaising with your host employer as required.

Training

As part of your apprenticeship or traineeship with AGA you will be required to complete training with a registered training organisation.

AGA will arrange all training requirements and work closely with you to ensure you are progressing in line with your training plan.

Outcomes

Due to our high completion rates, most of our apprentices and trainees become fully qualified and that could be you.

We work hard to achieve this result by working closely with our host employers, apprentices and trainees.

In some cases, our apprentices and trainees are employed by their host employer at completion of the qualification. Our apprentices and trainees have the skills and qualifications to gain ongoing employment in their chosen industry.
