Being a Trainer with AGA will put you at the forefront of stewarding in the next generation of trade apprentices. They’ll benefit from the skills and experience you’ve developed over your career, and you’ll play a crucial role in guiding apprentices through their training.

Let’s face it, you were once an apprentice so you know first-hand what a difference a supportive and knowledgeable Trainer can make.

 

Current opportunities with AGA

We are currently looking to hire Trainers who are trade-qualified in a range of specialisations including carpentry, education support, electrical, auto mechanical, plumbing and more.

If you want to become a trainer and assessor, great! If you already hold your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, even better.

Trainers and assessors must be qualified or be enrolled and working towards:

  • TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessmentor
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, plus the following units:
    • TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and
    • TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
