What does a horticulture apprentice do?

As a horticulture apprentice you might find yourself:

  • identifying, propagating and pruning plants
  • treating weeds, pests and diseases
  • learning turf management and paving
  • operating horticultural machinery
  • installing and maintaining drainage and irrigation systems
