Precautionary Advice
Health authorities have advised that good personal hygiene and not coming into contact with an ill person can reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19.

It is very important that if you feel ill, you should isolate yourself, seek medical attention immediately and follow the medical advice provided.

  • In the current situation, the best advice about protecting your health is to exercise basic health precautions and good hygiene. To help safeguard yourself and the people around you from the risk of infection, we encourage you to adopt the following strategies:
  • Protect yourself and others by maintaining good personal hygiene, including frequent handwashing with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (if soap and water are unavailable).
  • Keep physical and close contact with others to a minimum and avoid people who are feeling unwell.
    Avoid touching your face, nose and mouth.

What should I do if I feel unwell?
If you are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, seek medical advice especially if you have underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes.

People with fever, cough and difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.

What happens if I self-isolate?

If you need to self-isolate you must to notify your Field Officer or contact AGA directly on 1300 000 242.
You will receive sick pay or if you do not have sufficient sick leave you may use your annual leave
Once the isolation period is complete please notify your Field Officer and you may return to work
